3 & 4 Watercolor Painting
This class concentrates on the development of watercolor painting skills. 5 Landscape Drawing Foundations in Watercolor
First this class focuses on drawing skills that underlie a successful landscape painting, learning to compose a high-value contrast drawing from a photo. 6 Watercolor Critique
This class is for students who have accomplished facility with watercolor. The emphasis will be on helping students continue to develop their skills and personal style. Taking risks will be encouraged in order to expand one's skill range and to develop new facility with the medium. 21 Abstract Figurative Painting
We will deconstruct modern & contemporary themes as students develop a unique voice in their painting. 39 Travel Sketching

42 Beginning Etching with Aluminum
Etching is used to make limited editions of original art. Learn how to transfer designs, prepare plates and print with an etching press. We will explore how to etch line, tone and aquatint using a variety of non-toxic grounds and stop-outs. Students will develop an understanding of etching using the aluminum plate & copper sulfate bath method. This class is appropriate for beginners as well as artists who have worked in other mediums. 49 Stone Carving
This class teaches the carving of soft stone using hand tools: roughing out the initial shape, detailed shaping, polishing and sealing. Beginners start with a small stone; more advanced students work on large stones and more complex projects. 50 Sculpture with a Model
This class teaches basic techniques using clay as a primary medium to make permanent sculptures without casting. Advanced students may continue to work on other types of sculpture started in previous classes. Sculptures will be fired at location given by instructor so that an appropriate real metal bronze patina may be applied. A list of supplies and tools needed will be discussed at the first class. 58 Digital Darkroom using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Adobe's Lightroom software has greatly simplified processing digital camera 'RAW' files. In this class, you'll learn a basic workflow for 'dialing in' RAW images with Lightroom, then explore techniques for making your images pop. You'll have hours of hands-on practice, first with sample images that will be provided, then on your own photographs. Bring a laptop with Adobe Lightroom (2.6 or later preferred, 3.0 Beta is fine as well) installed, a power cord, and ten RAW images of your own work with good composition and focus that you'd like to work on. 66 Yoga for Artists
This yoga class will help you let go of tension in your body, then move onto tapping into your creative power that all resides within. We will start with neck and shoulder openers to relieve the aches and pains of long periods of standing at the easel, sitting over a table, or the potter's wheel.
